Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy – AU Salon Supplies

AU Salon Supplies (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates https://ausalonsupplies.com.au (“Website”).
By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These policies ensure expectations are clear for processing, delivery, returns, and customer service.


1. General

We aim to maintain accurate stock levels on our website. However, on rare occasions, a stock discrepancy may occur.
If an ordered item is unavailable, we will:

  • Ship all in-stock items immediately, and
  • Contact you to choose between:
    • waiting for restock, or
    • receiving a refund for the unavailable item.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and delivery location.

Heavy Furniture & Equipment:
Large or heavy items may require a custom shipping quote to ensure the best possible price.
You may receive an email from our team to confirm shipping costs before dispatch.
You may also request a quote before checkout.


3. Returns

3.1 Change of Mind Returns

  • Change-of-mind returns are accepted at our discretion.
  • Customers must arrange and pay for their own return shipping.
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition.

Once the return is received and approved:

  • A refund will be issued as store credit.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

3.2 Warranty Returns

We honour valid warranty claims submitted within 14 days of receiving your item.

Customers must pre-pay return shipping; however, the shipping cost will be reimbursed once the warranty claim is approved.

Upon receiving the returned item, we will assess the warranty claim within 7 days.

If approved, you may choose:

  • A refund to your original payment method
  • Store credit
  • A replacement item (subject to stock availability)

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Domestic Delivery Time

Most domestic orders arrive within 2–7 business days.

4.2 International Delivery Time

International delivery times range from 4–22 days, depending on the courier selected at checkout.

4.3 Dispatch Time

Orders are dispatched within 2 business days of payment.
Our warehouse operates Monday–Friday (excluding public holidays).

4.4 Change of Delivery Address

Delivery addresses can be modified anytime before dispatch.

4.5 PO Box Shipping

We ship to PO Boxes using postal services only. Couriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

We can ship to military addresses via USPS (postal service only).

4.7 Items Out of Stock

If part of your order is out of stock, we will ship available items first and dispatch the remainder once restocked.

4.8 Delayed Delivery

If your delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe, please contact us to initiate an investigation with the courier.


5. Tracking Notifications

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link to follow the shipment’s progress.


6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Reject the delivery if possible, and
  • Contact us immediately.

If the parcel was delivered while you were away, please provide photos and contact us for next steps.


7. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

All prices displayed on our website include applicable sales taxes.

7.2 International Duties & Taxes

International orders may incur duties and taxes upon arrival in the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

If duties/taxes are refused and the parcel is returned to us:

  • A refund for the product value will be issued, minus the return-shipping cost.
  • Original shipping fees will not be refunded.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled anytime before dispatch.
If the order has already shipped, please refer to our Returns Policy.


9. Insurance

All parcels are insured for loss or damage up to the courier’s stated coverage limits.

9.1 Damaged Parcels

We will issue a refund or replacement after the courier completes its investigation.

9.2 Lost Parcels

If the courier confirms a parcel is lost, we will process a refund or replacement immediately.
